I can't THANK my wonderful husband enough for all his help. He slept in the hospital recliner all 3 nights, and jumped up as soon as I would say his name. He has been so awesome. I want to thank my family as well as my in-laws. I feel so loved and blessed. XOXO

I survived!!
Well I survived my thyroid surgery! Here is a before, after, and THE UGLIEST picture ever of me! What a week it has been! I have never been more nervous in my life. I am so relieved it's over. Everything went well but I am still waiting to feel like my NORMAL self. I was in the hospital 4 days, my calcium levels dropped and my doctor wouldn't release me till I was at a normal level. I have been very dizzy, but hopefully that will go away ASAP! I have to wear that beautiful piece of tape on my neck for 3 weeks, it will be interesting to see how it looks under there.

Oh my gosh! Those hospital recliners are probably the most uncomfortable place to sleep! Bird did that when we had Scott. He woke up in the middle of the night to help me and as soon as he got up he fell over cuz his leg was asleep! It was SO FUNNY! hahaha. But what a wonderful husband Scott is being! So nice. I'm glad to here you are doing well. Hope the dizziness goes away soon! xoxo
WOW! They did a good job! I can't even see the scar!
P.s.
I HATE those leg things! I had to wear them when I was in the hospital for 6 days!
